I have a background in pure mathematics and I love working on complex problems. My recent work has touched over 700k users across five continents.
Get in touchThe Atticus design system is a comprehensive Figma library derived from the Semantic UI framework with additional custom components tailored to the Atticus platform. Guided by the Atomic Design methodology, it structures and organises everything from colours to typography and components to usage guidelines. It also acts as a common language between the engineering and design teams, ensuring visual consistency across the product.
The Atticus platform enables legal teams to streamline the verification process for disclosure documents. I worked on the core platform functionality, evolving the document review and approval workflow to allow multiple users to collaborate on the same statement. This initiative was a major restructure of the product including careful updates to version control, task management and progress reports.
The full text search capability at Atticus allows users to search for contextual evidence across multiple documents. Given the long term goal to enable AI with natural language processing, the interactions for this feature were designed for behavioural analysis. The user experience and visual design of the components and patterns defined for this feature were widely adopted in subsequent updates throughout the platform.
Mathspace Waypoints is a continuous assessment product designed to identify learning gaps in K-12 mathematics. Leading up to the product launch, I conducted in-depth field studies, usability tests and data analysis to improve the product effectiveness and increase user engagement. This allowed the business to make informed decisions regarding the product roadmap.
I'm a self-driven product designer with a passion for continuous learning and a knack for problem-solving. My academic life started in California where I studied pure mathematics at UC Berkeley, cultivating a pragmatic approach to problem-solving that helped shape my design thinking.
Living in a few countries and immersing myself in different cultures has allowed me to develop adaptability and empathy. I share more about my journey from pure mathematics into product design in an episode of the Digitally Diverse podcast.
As my design philosophy evolved, I developed a deep appreciation for timeless design, focusing on intuitive user experiences and decisions grounded in data and critical thinking.
You'll see me thrive in a fast-paced environment with highly collaborative and autonomous teams.
